Summary
You can access the List of Personal Information Collected to briefly learn about the purpose, method, and scope of personal information collection and/or use in HUAWEI ID.
Important Notes
1 How We Collect and Use Your Personal Information
1.1 We will provide you with the services described below through HUAWEI ID. To fulfill our contractual obligations and ensure that you can use the related features, we will process information required for providing the services as described below when you use the basic services of HUAWEI ID.
1.1.1 Account features
Registration and login
You can register a HUAWEI ID using a mobile number or email address. During the registration process, you need to provide your mobile number or email address and set an account password for registration and login. We may also request you to provide your birthday information to determine whether you are an adult user. After completing the registration, you can add your profile picture, nickname, gender, account name, and other basic information to get a better experience with your HUAWEI ID.
During the registration or login process, we will also collect your device identifiers (UUID, IMEI, SN, ESN, and MEID), device information (device model and device name), WLAN information (Wi-Fi name), carrier information (IMSI and PLMN), basic system settings (country code, language, registration location, and service location), operating system information, approximate location information, and browser settings (if applicable), in order to identify your frequently used trusted devices for security purposes and enable you to easily log in on your frequently used devices or trusted browsers. Obtaining your device identifiers requires your Phone (device information) permission. If you choose to log in using an SMS verification code, we will use the Messaging permission to automatically fill in the SMS verification code to help you quickly log in to your account. If you use the code scanning feature, you need to grant the Camera and Meida and files permissions to scan the code, and we will collect your light sensor information to provide auxiliary features when needed, for example, to check the current light intensity in the environment and provide the option to turn on the flashlight for scanning the code in low light. The sensor information will only be used within the device and will not be uploaded to any Huawei server. During your use of the security verification feature, it is necessary to display the verification code on the device where you have logged in to your HUAWEI ID, so that you can use the security verification code to log in to your HUAWEI ID on the new device. This feature needs to use the service message feature and collect your HUAWEI ID information, device identifier (SN), and device information (device model and device name).
In addition, during the login process, you can use your enrolled facial or fingerprint information instead of your account password to complete the process, and such information will only be stored in the secure trusted zone on your device.
Account security
To protect the information in your HUAWEI ID, we have set up a variety of identity authentication methods, which include adding information to your HUAWEI ID, setting a security mobile number, adding emergency contacts, and completing real-name authentication. During your use of the aforementioned features, you will need to provide your mobile number, email address, or valid identity documents as applicable. You can grant the Contacts permission when adding emergency contacts, so that you can quickly sync contacts from your Contacts app to the emergency contacts list. It is recommended that you use a screen lock on your device to enhance your account security. In addition, we will use CAPTCHA and sensor information (gyroscope information) to assist in identifying machine-simulated actions, thereby securing the account login or usage environment. Among the information, the sensor information will only be used within the device and will not be uploaded to any Huawei server.
For the purpose of securing your account when you request to recover your account password, modify your HUAWEI ID registration information, or freeze or unfreeze your account, we may need you to provide your HUAWEI ID information, device identifiers (IMEI and SN), WLAN information (Wi-Fi name), and previous usage information (such as information about previous purchases on VMALL), and will, when necessary, ask you to upload your selfie with ID card or facial images to verify your identity.
Account risk control
For the purpose of protecting the rights of Huawei, you, or other Huawei customers, in situations like sign-ups, logins, and payments, we will collect and use your device identifiers (UUID, IMEI, SN, ESN, and MEID), device type information, approximate location information, network information (IP address), carrier information (IMSI), HUAWEI ID information (profile picture and nickname), and personalized device settings for risk control to prevent violations of public policy and restrict fraud and other illegal activities. We will freeze or even clear accounts that are identified as abnormal.
If we find that the mobile number used by you to log in to your account is likely to be recycled by the communications carrier, we will provide the number and the time of your account registration with the number to the carrier to check whether the number is recycled and thereby ensure your account security.
If there are abnormalities with your HUAWEI ID when you are using it to log in to a third-party service, we will send information about the abnormalities (such as the account being frozen or compromised) to the third party service to support its risk control.
Real-name authentication
Before allowing you to use Huawei services that involve payment, gaming, content, e-commerce, and developer community features, we need your cooperation in real-name authentication to comply with national laws and regulations as well as regulatory requirements.
If you use an ID card or eID for the real-name authentication, we will transmit the valid ID card information you provide, in encrypted form, to an authoritative identity authentication organization to have your real identity verified. If we need to further verify the validity of the information you provide, we may also request you to provide photos or videos of your face, which will not be stored by us. We will use the Camera and Meida and files permissions on your device when you use the real-name authentication feature described above.
If you use a bank card for the real-name authentication, you can grant the Camera permission to quickly capture information on the bank card, and we will transmit the bank card information, name, and ID card number you provide in encrypted form to UnionPay institutions for verification. We will retain the last four digits of your bank card number and display them for you in the linked bank cards section accessible from the Payment and purchases screen.
We will store the valid ID card information you provide in encrypted form, in order to (a) help authenticate you upon events such as when you request to recover your account password or submit other appeals concerning your account; and (b) verify your identity when you use our user authentication feature based on real-name information verification or facial recognition, by checking whether the identity information you submit to the third party is consistent with your HUAWEI ID real-name information. After you complete the real-name authentication, we may verify and update the date of birth you submitted when creating your HUAWEI ID, so that we can provide you with appropriate services.
Address management
You can go to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Personal info > My addresses and maintain all your address information there to enjoy easier access to such information. You can grant the Contacts permission when editing and managing your address information, so that you can quickly sync the name, phone number, and email address of a contact you select from the Contacts app to the address information fields.
Such names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, postal codes, and address categories you add will be uploaded to and stored in encrypted form on the Huawei server.
Service messages
We provide you with the service message feature. We will use your device identifiers (UUID, UDID, SN, IMEI, MEID, and ESN), HUAWEI ID information, network information, device hardware information, operating system, system settings, and basic app information to help you quickly find desired notification IDs. When you send messages to or receive messages from a notification ID, we need to use your account information (HUAWEI ID information, nickname, and profile picture), network information, submitted text, device hardware information, operating system, approximate location information, system settings, device data, and basic app information.
Device interconnectivity
If you link a device from Huawei or a Huawei certified partner, we will collect your device identifier, which will be stored on the Huawei server for authentication between the devices. Device identifiers typically include but are not limited to UUID, IMEI, SN, ESN, and MEID. We will make efforts to collect only the personal data we need.
For example, when you use a smart home or fitness and health device and app, HUAWEI ID will obtain your device identifier from the app for connection display.
To help you easily and securely use the distributed interconnection capability, when you have started up your device, log in to your HUAWEI ID, enable Internet access, or use the device interconnection capability, we may secondarily launch the Device Interconnection service in the background to collect your HUAWEI ID information and device identifiers and store them to the Huawei server over the Internet. During your use of the distributed interconnection capability, we will exchange your HUAWEI ID information and device identifiers between the devices for connection establishment.
Account suggestions
HUAWEI ID suggestions will use your account settings, basic app usage information, and device identifier (UUID) when providing you with usage suggestions described below. Suggestions on account security settings will be provided by additionally using your emergency contact and other settings to ensure the secure use of your account. Suggestions on the service use will be provided based on your service usage, for example, to advise you to enable Cloud syncing, clean up your cloud space, link payment cards, or create your 3D avatar. These account suggestions will disappear after you have read them, to ensure a better service experience.
3D avatar
If you use the service for creating your 3D avatar, we will collect your device type information, network information (IP address), device identifier (UUID), app usage information, and HUAWEI ID information, use the Camera or Media and files permission on your device to obtain your face photos/images, and may use the gender information under your account, in order to help you create your 3D avatar. We will use AI algorithms on your device to help generate your 3D avatar. We will not save your selfies or uploaded images. After creating and editing your 3D avatar, you can use the 3D avatar as your account avatar or Always On Display, to create stickers, in Celia Keyboard, and for more applications in the Huawei ecosystem.
Legacy contacts
If you use the legacy contacts service, there is the need for you to complete real-name authentication to confirm your identity. We will collect your device identifier (UUID) and HUAWEI ID information, and need you to fill in the valid ID card information (name and ID card number) of the legacy contact you want to designate. Such ID card information will be sent in encrypted form to an authoritative identity authentication organization to verify that the information is true. We will only retain such name and ID card number information in encrypted form (as irreversible hashes) for the purposes of subsequent verification of the identity of the legacy contact. You can specify data that can be inherited, which can include Gallery, Contacts, Notepad, and recording files in your Cloud as well as data uploaded to your Drive. Once the setup is complete, an access key will be generated for accessing the digital assets of the account. Such key will only be stored in encrypted form on your device and will not be available to us. You can remove the legacy contact, for which the settings will also be deleted upon the removal.
If you request access as a legacy contact, we need you to provide your real-name authentication information, access key, and relevant supporting materials to verify your request.
1.1.2 Family Sharing
Family member management
Family Sharing allows you to seamlessly share your selected content with your family members. When you enable Family Sharing, we will use your HUAWEI ID information, network information, device hardware information, operating system, and system settings to help you and your family members share benefits, subscriptions, and more. You can manage your family members in Family Sharing. We will use your name, age, account information (HUAWEI ID information, nickname, and profile picture), contact information, network information, device hardware information, operating system, device data, system settings, approximate location information, and basic app information to allow you to add Family Sharing members, by scanning a QR code, entering a registered HUAWEI ID (mobile number or email address), or inviting contacts in your Contacts app after granting the Contacts permission, or allow you to create a child account in Family Sharing. During your use of the Family Sharing feature, we will collect information such as the device identifiers (UUID, UDID, SN, IMEI, MEID, and ESN), device model, HUAWEI ID information, nickname, network information, operating system, system settings, and basic app information, to allow you to view family member information and send and receive notifications such as invitations.

If you actively enable sharing of payment methods, items purchased from AppGallery, and benefits such as purchased Cloud storage plans with your family members, we will use the account information (HUAWEI ID information, nickname, and profile picture), device data, and basic app information.
Mobile Guardian
In Family Sharing, the organizer can enable Mobile Guardian to guide their child to properly use Huawei devices and services. We will use the HUAWEI ID information, network information, device data, and basic app information. After you enable Mobile Guardian for your child, we will use the device identifiers (UUID, IMEI, SN, ESN, and MEID) and device hardware information (device model) to display the device list and allow the organizer and administrators to manage the Away time, Screen time, App and service limits, and Content access restrictions for the child's device. If the organizer has enabled Mobile Guardian for the child or teenager, Mobile Guardian will be automatically enabled on the device where the child or teenager logs in to their account.
1.1.3 Cloud
Cloud is only available after you log in to your account on a Huawei device. If you only use HUAWEI CLOUD, the following content does not apply to you.
Cloud adopts industry-leading privacy protection technologies and security protection mechanisms based on multi-layer encryption to ensure that no one else can view or obtain your information without your authorization. For more information about Cloud security and privacy, see Cloud Security and Privacy.
To help you sync data between your device and the cloud in real time, Cloud will automatically start upon restarts of the linked apps, logins to your account, and other relevant events. In addition, to ensure data synchronization to Cloud from the linked apps, Drive in Files will be started upon your login to Cloud, and apps such as Contacts, Notepad, and Gallery will be started once you enable cloud synchronization for them.
If no data has been backed up from your Huawei device to Cloud for more than one hundred and eighty (180) days, we may clear the information already backed up from the device to protect the legitimate rights and interests of all Cloud Backup users and assure their experience.
Cloud provides you with Trial and Full modes. You can make your choice by going to HUAWEI ID > Cloud > More settings > About > Extended features. In Trial mode, only Find Device is available. You will not be able to use other features, such as Cloud Backup, Drive, and Cloud Sync, which may affect your experience. See the following for details about the personal information collected for each feature.
Cloud Backup
To help you restore data on other Huawei devices at any time and improve your experience when switching to a new device, Cloud Backup will automatically back up your device over WLAN when the screen is locked. Data of the following on your device will be backed up to Cloud: Gallery, Contacts, Messaging, call logs, Notepad, recordings, Settings, Weather, Clock, Camera, input methods, Browser, optimizer, WLAN information (Wi-Fi status, Wi-Fi parameters, and Wi-Fi list), FM Radio, AI Tips, music, files in the safe in Files, and home screen layout and apps (the list of installed apps and information from some third-party apps). We will use the Media and files, Messaging, Contacts, Call logs, Calendar, Camera, and App list permissions on your device when you use the backup feature described above.
Cloud Sync
Cloud Sync allows you to sync the following to the Huawei server and across devices that are logged in to your account and keep them up to date: data from Gallery (including album tags), Contacts, Calendar, Notepad (including image and voice memos), Notes, WLAN information (Wi-Fi status, Wi-Fi parameters, and Wi-Fi list), AIReader, HUAWEI Browser, and other apps for which Cloud Sync has enabled. We will collect the aforementioned information and use the Media and files, Contacts, and Calendar permissions on your device when you use the syncing feature.
Drive
Drive allows you to upload, download, view files, edit them online, and more. We will use the Media and files permission when you view, edit, and download your Drive documents. To provide you with a good editing experience, the encoding settings, watermarks and comments created, and temporary data generated during your editing will be sent to the server. You can use Drive to share files, and set passwords for sharing to ensure security. To make it easier for you to find your Drive files, we will register the names, extensions, sizes, type identifiers, and last modified times of your Drive files with Huawei's Fusion Search Service so that you can search for your Drive files using the global search service on your device. All data related to Fusion Search Service will be stored only on the device.
To enable you to remotely print images and documents stored on your device, the Cloud printer feature will be automatically enabled after you enable Cloud. During the process, your device and the printer do not need to be in the same network. To use this feature, open the AI Life app and select a printer that has been linked with your HUAWEI ID. When you use Cloud printer for printing, we will collect your HUAWEI ID and device identifiers (UUID and SN), device information of the printer, files selected for printing and their properties, and information about the format conversion tasks associated with the printing, as well as the converted files and their properties.
Find Device
To protect your device and information, you can enable Find Device, which allows you to locate the device, make it play a sound, lock it, or erase data. After Find Device is enabled, we will collect the SOCID and precise location information of your device. In addition, to show you the SIM card and network status information of the lost device and increase your chances of getting the device back, we will collect the mobile number, carrier information, network status information, and WLAN information (Wi-Fi parameters and Wi-Fi status). In addition, we will collect your HUAWEI ID information, device identifier (SN or IMEI), and device information (device model and device name) and store them to the Huawei server over the Internet, in order to complete security verification for your device, thereby ensuring the security of your device's location information. Once you start a finding session to look for any device supporting Find Device, Location Services will be automatically enabled, and we will use the Location permission to automatically locate the device every 60 seconds. Location Services will be automatically disabled after the finding session ends. If you use the Precise search services, we may turn on the NearLink switch of the device you are looking for to display the distance and direction during the search process. Once you stop using the Precise search services, the NearLink switch will be automatically turned off. Your device's last location will be sent to the server when the battery is about to run out. You can enable this by turning on the Send last location switch.
Lost mode allows you to lock your lost device. In this mode, the Location permission will be used to automatically report the location information every ten minutes. To help you track the location of your lost device, we will display your location track on the map after obtaining your consent. We will encrypt the track information and only save the records generated over the last 24 hours. You can also set lock screen information, contact information, and a screen lock for your device in Lost mode, so that anyone who finds the device can then contact you. The track information sent, as well as the lock screen information, contact information, and screen lock will all be automatically cleared when you disable Lost mode.
When you look for a Bluetooth device (such as Bluetooth earphones, watches, bands, and glasses) paired with your device, we will collect the status of such Bluetooth device together with its device identifier (SN) and model. To display the last location of the Bluetooth device before it is disconnected, the Location permission will be used upon the disconnection to automatically report the location of your device. For sports watches and bands, you can only find and manage these devices through the Health app after pairing with these devices in the app.
You can use HUAWEI Tags linked with your HUAWEI ID to find items with such tags. To discover and manage a HUAWEI Tag paired with your device, we will collect the item's identifier (Find Network ID), model, and firmware version, as well as your device's Bluetooth information and sensor information after the item is successfully paired with your device. When the HUAWEI Tag is near you, you can use the Locate feature to quickly find it. With your permission, we will access your microphone and thereby determine the distance and direction of the HUAWEI Tag from you by means of ultrasound short range positioning. The distance and direction of the HUAWEI Tag are only used for display to you on the map and will not be stored on any server. In the event that your HUAWEI Tag is off from the linked device, we need to disclose your information limited to the item's identifier (Find Network ID) to ensure device security and personal safety. In addition, you can use Find Network to check the item's location (as described below).
Find Network is a short-range information network consisting of a large number of Huawei devices. After a device or item joins Find Network, you can locate it through Find Network or anonymously help locate other devices and items that have joined Find Network. Devices that have joined Find Network detect lost devices and items nearby via Bluetooth, anonymize the detected geographical location information, and encrypt and upload the information to the Huawei server. Huawei cannot decrypt the location, and will not share the encrypted data of the location with any third party.
During your use of the finding feature for an item or device, we will collect the HUAWEI ID and device identifier linked during pairing to distinguish the item owner. Your information such as the following will be collected to provide you with the ability to locate your device when it is offline or powered off: device identifier, device hardware information, device status and running records, network information, MAC address, and precise location information. Your device model and device hardware information will be collected for firmware updates. If your device supports NFC, Find Network will identify information about an item via NFC when the item is in Pairing or Lost mode.
If you do not want the Find Network feature, you can disable it by going to Settings > HUAWEI ID > Find Device and disabling Find My Phone on your Huawei device.
Offline location information obtained by Find Network will be retained for up to one hundred and eighty (180) days, and will be deleted upon the expiry of this period of one hundred and eighty (180) days or will be deleted immediately after you disable the Find Network feature.
You can use the Location sharing feature to share the location of this device with a family member or friend of yours so that they can help you locate this device in case it is lost or view your current location. After Location sharing is enabled, your device will use the Location permission to report its location only when the family member or friend you share with requests the location. Your family member or friend can access this location information within 24 hours, and we will delete this location information after this period of time. You can disable the Location sharing service at any time by going to Find Device > Location sharing.
To enhance functionality and protection for your device, the Services provide you with the Activation lock feature. This feature prevents others from activating your device without your permission and increases your chances of getting your device back, in case of loss, unauthorized use, or unexpected restoration to factory settings. During use, this feature requires Internet access and needs to collect and use your HUAWEI ID information, device identifier (SN or IMEI), and information about your use of this app. We will not share your information with third parties in any form.
Storage cleanup
We provide you with the Storage cleanup service to help you easily manage your device data and free up more local storage space. You can use App cleanup to uninstall apps that you do not often use. For this purpose, we will use the App list permission to collect your list of installed apps, basic app information, and app usage information. You can also access Optimizer from Junk to clear your local junk files.
Using other clients
You can log in to the Cloud website (cloud.huawei.com) to view and manage your Cloud data. We will collect your browser settings, IP address, cookie information, and browsing or touching records to improve our service quality. In Settings of the Cloud website, you can disable or delete your cards linked in HUAWEI Wallet. When you use this feature, HUAWEI Wallet will send the card information to Cloud. However, we will not store such information on the cloud. If you are a paying user of Cloud, you can also go to Settings > Advanced > Contacts Time Machine to restore your contacts information within the last 30 days.
You can use the Cloud client on your PC to easily view and manage your Cloud data. We will collect your HUAWEI ID information, computer device identifier, operating system settings, network information (carrier information), WLAN settings (Wi-Fi parameters and Wi-Fi status), basic app information, and information about your use of the app to improve our service quality.
Plan purchases
We offer paid membership services to provide you with more and better services and improve your experience. You can purchase a cloud storage plan that fits your needs. To ensure that you can enjoy the benefits you have paid for, we need to collect your purchase records (including plan name, space size, subscription duration, purchase time, and order number). You can also purchase Cloud Cards from our third-party partners to redeem membership benefits in Cloud. To ensure successful redemption, we will store your Cloud Card passwords in encrypted form.
Notifications
After you subscribe to the service account of Cloud, we will display your Cloud usage on the card of the service account in Assistant·TODAY to keep you updated on your Cloud usage. For this purpose, we will collect your device information, operating system settings, network information, and app usage information. You can touch the card to view the usage details on the features screen of Cloud. You can disable the on-card display of Cloud-related content by unsubscribing from the service account of Cloud.
Risk control
For the purpose of protecting the rights of Huawei, you, or other Huawei customers, when you are sharing albums or performing other actions that require stricter security protection, we will collect and use your HUAWEI ID information, network information, carrier information, device identifier (UUID), and device type information for risk control to prevent violations of national laws or public policy. In addition, we will monitor and review the content you share, and block or delete information that violates laws and regulations.
When you participate in activities related to Cloud, we will collect your mobile number, basic app information, device hardware information, activity-related information, product subscription relationship, payment information, and related device identifiers (UUID, IMEI, and MEID), in order to identify users who engage in the activities in an improper manner and to take risk control measures accordingly.
1.1.4 Growth system services
To provide you with the membership level information, growth points, points, tasks, badges, and other services and benefits, we will collect your account-based behavior data for the purposes of the membership growth system services. For details about the personal information collection, please refer to the Statement About HUAWEI Member Center and Privacy.
1.1.5 Asset management
For the purpose of helping you better manage user assets (in forms of currencies and benefits) under your HUAWEI ID, when you check your information under "My assets" in a Huawei app after logging in to your HUAWEI ID, we will collect your following information and process your account information on behalf of Petalpay (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., in order to allow you to readily check up-to-date information about any virtual assets, benefits, account balance, and account credit limit linked with your HUAWEI ID: device hardware information, device model, device identifier, operating system, system properties, system settings, HUAWEI ID information, benefit information, HUAWEI Points, and account information. If there is the need to display information about your HUAWEI Wallet cards and tickets under "My assets", the Wallet app will be launched in the background to retrieve the number of the valid cards and tickets.
1.1.6 Privacy center
The Privacy center allows you to manage your personal information in one place. You can access the Privacy center to exercise your rights as the data subject.
Managing your personal preferences
We will use the information about the devices that your HUAWEI ID is currently logged in to, including their device identifiers (OAIDs) and device models to show you such devices. You can view and manage your ad profile segment information for a specific device.
Subscription information
If you subscribe to related information in the Privacy Center or our products and services, including information about Member Center, games, or apps, we will collect your subscription record, in order to send you information about related products, services, marketing, promotions, and so on through your subscription.
Obtaining your data copy
If you request and download a copy of your personal data, we will strictly verify your identity information to ensure your personal information security. For this purpose, we need to verify your HUAWEI ID and real-name authentication information. For children, we will verify information about their parents.
To ensure the security of your personal data, when you request to obtain your data copies, we will record and display your requests to provide transparency for your personal data copy requests and downloads.
You need to set a password for the data copy package you are requesting to ensure your data security. Such password is known only to you and we will not retain it.

Nearby devices: The Nearby devices permission is required for you to easily locate your earphones, watches, items, and other devices and use services such as those for ringing the devices. This permission is also mandatory for the provision of such services.
You can go to system Settings > Apps & services > Apps and find the HMS Core or Cloud app to manage permissions for their services. The access path may vary depending on the system.
Because the services and system permissions vary depending on the device, the system permissions that we request are not the same on different devices. For example, on iOS devices, we do not request the Phone, Calendar, or Call logs permission. On devices running Android of early versions, when you log in to your HUAWEI ID, the permission to access the system's account database may be required to record information following the login.
3 Advertising and Marketing
With your consent, we will provide you with marketing notification services:
We will push service notifications, as well as messages about activities, prize winning, and promotions, to you based on your HUAWEI ID information, device identifier, device hardware information, operating system version, current device user nickname and network information, and information about your use of Member Center and other related Huawei apps. To unsubscribe from such notifications, log in to the Privacy Center with your HUAWEI ID from your Huawei phone's Settings or in your browser, then go to Manage your personal preferences > Subscribe to account information.
We may also provide you with personalized commercial ads and app promotion activities. For such purposes, we need to collect and process information about your device and use of this app, account information, ad interaction information, operating system information, device hardware information, network information, and device identifier (OAID), and display personalized ads and other promotional content of greater relevance for you. During this process, we will strictly protect your privacy and only share information with our advertising partners within this scope. For details about how we collect and use your personal information to deliver personalized ads to you, please refer to the Statement About Petal Ads and Privacy.
If you want to restrict personalized ads, you can go to Settings > Privacy > Ads and Privacy and turn on the Disable personalized ads switch. After turning on the switch, you may still receive the same number of advertisements, but they will be less relevant to you. You can go to HUAWEI ID > Cloud > More settings > Personalized ads to disable personalized ads from Cloud.
The services available to you may vary depending on the device you use.
4 Protection of Minors
We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information. Huawei will provide services and protection for minors in strict accordance with national laws and regulations. If you are a minor, your parents or legal guardians must agree to your use of this app, and agree to the applicable terms and conditions. Parents or legal guardians should also take appropriate precautions to protect minors, including monitoring their use of this app.
In particular, if you are a child (a minor under the age of 14), please make sure to notify your parents or legal guardians about carefully reading with you this Statement and the Huawei Consumer Business Statement About Children's Privacy Protection specifically formulated by us before you use our services, and use our services or provide information to us with the consent and guidance of your parents or legal guardians. If you are a parent or legal guardian, please ensure that the child under your guardianship uses our services and provides us with information with your consent or guidance.
You can add a minor's account to Family Sharing to easily manage the minor's account. You can view and approve the purchase requests made by your child (including those for in-app purchases and downloads). You can keep the default Ask to buy settings for in-app purchases so you can be prompted each time the minor makes a payment request, protecting against inadvertent payment requests by the minor. You can also set up a threshold for Ask to buy alerts to prevent payments above your specified amount. You can also enable Remote Guard for minors to guide them to use the device healthily.
To help you manage your child's access to certain types of content or resources, we enable the mode for child protection by default when your device is logged in to a child account. You can go to Settings > Digital Balance to change the content access restrictions. We will limit the screen time and content access for protection purpose based on your settings.
The services provided may vary between different devices, and may change based on updates of features available on your device.
